Rain Damage

A rain pan cover is located below the chimney shroud. It prevents excess water from draining down through the chimney into the house.
Unfortunately, rain pans rust out and must be replaced. This is a serious problem that can only be determined by a chimney inspection. If your chimney is leaking, then there is a possibility that your rain pan has rusted through.
There are no standard rain pans, and must be custom made.
